Mac Yosemite USB to DVI Adapter not working

Today I upgraded to Mac OS Yosemite and my tiny little Cable Matters USB3-to-DVI Adapter stopped working.

If you can still find the device in „About my Mac“ then its the driver, not the hardware.

Cable Matters does not offer a Yosemite driver, but the original device manufacturer does: DisplayLink. Get the updated driver on their support website.

Install, reboot. Everything fine.
