Eclipse Juno won’t start with InjectionException

If you have the Eclipse Juno release and it refuses to start with following message

org.eclipse.e4.core.di.InjectionException: Unable to process „BundleTranslationProvider.null“: no actual value was found for the argument „String“.

The reason is most likely (was it in my case): Eclipse used an outdated Java install: logfile says java.version=1.6.0_17

You have an (old) Java 6 release and a new Java 7 JDK installed in parallel. Try to find all files named „java.exe“ on your hard drive. If there is more than one you might have my problem.

Also comparing the version output of the commands (enter into cmd-console, type cmd on your Windows start menu) „java -version“ and „javac -version“ must be the same Java 7 output.
